New car registrations rose by 7% last month, the best performance in almost a decade – and a rise that has seen the total registrations for 2012 already beaten with a month still to go. 159,581 new cars were registered last month, taking the year to date total up to 2,111,819. AFTER a long absence from the compact family hatchback market, Nissan has released a teaser shot of the car that it hopes will 'putt' the Volkswagen Golf in its place. Bentley is using the Beijing motor show to reveal the Bentley Hybrid Concept. It will preview the company's first plug-in model, with the powertrain expected in a Bentley SUV debuting in 2017. The technology will be demonstrated in Beijing on the flagship Bentley Mulsanne.
